Hagrid

Posted by Nicole Asher on

No sooner had Hagrids family arrived to their vacation destination when they received the call from their dog sitter that he had broke through the fence and escaped. He was frantically searching for his family.
He somehow made his way unscathed across extremely dangerous route 80 and made his way deep into the woods where he would remain for the next week.
From a distance Hagrid and his mom locked eyes but being in survival mode he turned and bolted back in to the woods. Cameras and feeding stations were set along with clothing from the hamper with his mom’s scent.
Hagrid eventually found the feeding stations and comfort in the familiar scent of his mom’s shirt as he carried it around with him for much of the night.
A trap was quickly brought in, an all nighter was spent in the truck, but he was a no show. Early this morning we placed another piece of his mom’s worn clothing by the trap and that’s all Hagrid needed. Within a half hour Hagrid was by the trap and the familiar scent of his mama.
After eight days on the run in the deep dense woods of Stroudsburg, Pa. Hagrid has been safely captured and reunited with his loving family.
Welcome H💙ME Hagrid!
