Frazzle

Posted by Nicole Asher on

In less than twenty four hours, Frazzle, a newly rescued street dog from Puerto Rico escaped THREE TIMES… at the airport in Puerto Rico, coming off transport in New York and then for her third and hopefully final time, after having just arrived to her new home in Wyckoff, NJ.

All new rescues are extreme flight risks and Frazzle having spent years on the street as a stray was very adept at surviving on her own.

She had a three mile radius that she navigated along with dense woods and steep ravines. We quickly figured out her travel pattern and traps and feeding stations were set up along her route.

Today in the pouring rain after five days on the run, the little sato with the purple tail was safely captured, ending her days on the streets.

Thank you to the amazing Wyckoff community for calling in sightings and allowing us to set up traps and feeding stations on your properties.

Dawn Reilly, you are the Yin to my Yang, my soul sister. Your tireless work and love for these lost souls, I am proud to have you on my team, there is no one I’d rather be in the trenches with, letting skunks out of our traps in the middle of the night and trudging through tick infested woods.

Welcome HOME Frazzle!!!
