Columbia Catahoulas

Posted by Nicole Asher on

Our good friends at Lakota Wolf Preserve contacted us about two dogs on the run together in Columbia, NJ. They were able to lure and secure the female but the male was just too terrified and remained at large and on the run. This afternoon I was able to safely capture the male and reunite him with his companion.
They are Catahoula Leopard mixes and understandably terrified but very gentle and yearning for love. They are emaciated, the male has cuts and abrasions all over his sweet face, they look to have been on their own for quite sometime. The male is unaltered and they are not microchipped. They are safe, warm and with full bellies. We will be looking for safe placement for them. If anyone has any information regarding these two dogs, please contact us, any information we receive will remain confidential.
Please consider a donation as we are inundated with requests for help for so many lost and abandoned dogs. Your donations helps us help dogs like these two beautiful babies. Thank you!
