Tucker

Tucker is reunited after a week on the run in the Delaware Water Gap! 🐕

Tucker ran a 7.5 mile loop through the vast trails and service roads with only two sightings the entire week. Tucker bolted back in to the woods anytime he was seen. It was a round the clock effort and his family was beyond dedicated, sleeping in their Jeep several nights with their other dog, Tula.

This morning we had just finished re-baiting a feeding station and decided that the family should head back up to Crater Lake. To the families shock as Tucker’s mom was dipping her feet in the lake, Tucker came trotting out to her, like nothing had happened. He had looped back to the point of escape as so many dogs lost in these situations do.

It’s always a pleasure to work with such a dedicated, determined and loving family. Always keep the faith and never give up!! Thank you to the park rangers, who allowed us access after closing and allowed us to do whatever needed to get him to safety. Welcome back Tucker!!
