Kaia

Posted by Nicole Asher on

Kaia missing from New Milford, NJ has been safely captured in Paramus after three days on the run, traveling approximately four miles.

This morning I began working with the family. We went over sightings and a game plan. Later in the day she was sighted walking down a driveway of a property that backed up to the Garden State Parkway. The house turned out to be abandoned and had a large hole in the fence leading right on to the parkway. She was then sighted on the parkway side of the fence, it was imperative that no one chase or approach her.

A trap was set on the abandoned property with the hopes that she would double back and that’s exactly what she did. She circled the trap for about fifteen minutes and finally went in for cheeseburgers and chicken McNuggets ending her three day adventure.

Thank you to everyone who shared her post, hung flyers, called in sightings and were so helpful and supportive to this dedicated family, you are all amazing. Welcome home Kaia!!
